We all know the benefits of ju-jitsu, For adults it can improve fitness, stimulate awareness, defend yourself or others. For children it is believed that the training is especially useful for the victims of school bullying, also it is a good way of channel ling excess energy. The Bushido ju-jitsu academy is run by fully qualified governing body grade 1 coaches.

Training in the academy has many benefits. For the individual, personnel goals & targets for self development are targeted. With a range of clubs around the country & abroad, the Bushido academy offers the very best in self-defence, martial arts, traditional & sport ju-jitsu. weapons are also taught. Jujitsu training can increase self-confidence, mental focus, self-discipline, build balance and coordination, and reduce stress. These effects are potent, long lasting and can profoundly impact all aspects of the Jujitsu practitioner’s life
Children will enjoy many hours of confidence building activities, including tumbling, falling, and self-defence training. Smaller or more reserved children will have the advantage of working with more experienced students and instructors who constantly support and cheer them on in a non-competitive environment. Students also make remarkable gains in dexterity. Awkward and gangly kids are soon amazing their parents with their newfound abilities. Because Jujitsu requires one to yield rather then resist, a more aggressive child learns the value of patience and self-control.
